word-break: break-all;">국정원 포스터 일부 캡쳐. 기사와 직접적 관련은 없음.</dd></dl></div><div itemprop="articleBody"><p style="line-height: 27px;">이스라엘 국방장관의 가정부로 일하던 30대 남성이 스파이 혐의로 기소됐다고 18일(현지 시각) 이스라엘 현지 언론 하레츠가 전했다.</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">보도에 따르면 이스라엘 검찰은 이날 베니 간츠 이스라엘 국방장관의 가정부로 일하던 옴리 고렌 고로초브스키(37)를 스파이 혐의로 기소했다고 밝혔다. 고로초브스키는 지난달 31일 이란과 연계된 해커 집단 ‘블랙 섀도(Black Shadow)’와 접선해 간츠 장관의 컴퓨터에 악성 프로그램을 심는 스파이 활동을 제안한 혐의를 받는다.</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">보도를 접하고 최근 북한 정찰총국 대좌(대령급) 출신의 고위 탈북자 김국성(가명)씨가 영국 BBC가 공개한 인터뷰한 내용이 떠올랐다. </p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">김씨는 "1990년대 초반 북한에서 직파한 공작원이 (남한) 청와대에 잠입해 5~6년간 근무하다 무사히 복귀한 적이 있다"고 주장했다. </p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">1990년대 초반은 노태우(1988~1993년), 김영삼(1993~1998년) 정부 시절이다.</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">북한 간첩이 남파돼 활동하고, 국내 주요 인사들을 접촉·포섭하는 경우는 있었지만, 우리 청와대에서 수년간 일하다 북으로 돌아갔다는 폭로는 전례가 없는 일이다. 그는 “(지금도) 북한 공작원들이 남한의 구석구석 중요한 기관들은 물론이고, 시민사회단체 여러 곳에서 맹활약하고 있다”고 했다. 이에 대해 국정원은 “북 공작원 90년대 초 청와대 근무 관련 내용은 사실무근”이라고 밝혔다.</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">제기된 문제에 대해 신뢰성이 낮더라도 NCND(Neither Confirm Nor Deny·긍정도 부정도 아님)의 모호한 태도를 보이는 정보기관의 속성에 비추어 이례적이다.</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">김씨의 주장에 대해 국내 최고 북한 전문가인 유동열 자유민주연구원장은 "무시할 수 없다"고 했다. </p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">김씨가 이 시점에 이처럼 엄청난 거짓말을 할 이유가 전혀 없다는 것이다. </p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">그의 이야기다. </p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">"청와대 근무자는 국정원과 경찰청의 정밀 신원조사를 거쳐야 한다. 신원조사는 대상자 출생 시부터 성장 과정, 가족관계, 학력, 경력, 사상관, 정당 관계, 주변의 평판 등을 광범위하게 조사하는데 북한에서 직파 된 간첩이 이를 통과한다는 것은 매우 어렵다. 다만 몇 가지 가능성은 상정할 수 있다. 첫째, 직파 간첩이 국내에 침투하여 위장 신분으로 합법적 거점을 확보하고 최소한 10년 이상 장기간 거주(고정간첩)한 후 정치권에 진출하여 활동하다 청와대 침투했을 경우이다. 둘째는 북한 직파 간첩에 포섭된 내국인 간첩이 장기간 암약하다 청와대에 침투했을 가능성이다."</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">김씨의 증언은 과거 얘기만은 아닐 수도 있다. 시민 활동가란 간판을 내걸고 여당 대선 후보 선대위의 특보단에 들어가고 총선·지방선거에도 출마한 사례가 있는 탓이다. 2018년엔 간첩 활동을 하다 무기징역을 선고받은 사람이 공기업 감사 최종 후보에 오르기도 했다.</p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">통합진보당 이석기 전 의원과 그가 주도한 조직은 북 지령에 따라 종북 세력을 규합해 국가 기간 시설 파괴 등 내란 선동까지 꾸몄다. </p><p style="line-height: 27px;"><br></p><p style="line-height: 27px;">글=최우석 월간조선 기자. </p></div></div></div>
